Here is the kicker though, if I turn headphones off (disconnecting them from device) then reconnect, I am back to the same problem where they are not listed in AirPlay and I have to pair again the devices.Īnyone else seeing this issue? Sadly I do not have another bluetooth headphone to test this.
I found to fix the issue, I have to Forget Device of the headphones then repair and immediately they are listed again in AirPlay and sound is coming from the app through the headphones. They are connecting as I see the icon in the status bar of the phone and in Bluetooth section of settings says it is connected but when I go to Music app and click AirPlay they are not listed. With iOS 9.x I never had a problem with the headphones recognized and used immediately by all apps through AirPlay.
As part of my daily usage, I connect bluetooth headphones (4.0), MPOW Swift is the brand, to listen to music or watch YouTube. I am using iPhone 5 which I recently upgraded to iOS10. I wanted to see if it is only me or other people see this.
